Paul Walsh
Paul Walsh had his first exhibition in a local Rotorua, New Zealand café at the age of 15. After moving to Wellington in 1996, Paul continued to exhibit in bars, cafés, clothing shops, government buildings and anywhere else he could find. In addition to being featured on the covers of several magazines and albums, his work has been shown in London, Florida and Sydney.
Paul’s style is influenced by comic books, cartoons, computer games and graffiti. His favorite traditional artists are Magritte and Escher. Contemporary favorites include Doze Green, Pete Fowler and Loomit. Paul now resides in the tiny village of Ngongotaha, far away from the hassles of urban life, in order to focus on painting.
